Feb 16-Mar 1 ; Week 5-6

This week, we accessed Webquests websites, specifically Zunal. I partnered with Kayla Roberto and we chose Dinosaurs from the Cretaceous Period as our subject. We researched that specific period because it was the most recent and for me personally, it brought back memories of a movies series I always used to watch called "Land Before Time."

I see now how helpful a webquest would be for the modern world. It's easier on the lesson plans and the activities and videos that you find are fun for almost every age. Videos are downgraded as an actual medium use to teach, however, you may find that most children watch television lately. What better way to catch their attention then what they actually are used to doing.

Week 4 Feb 2-8

This week, we created our own Blog Website. It was easy to use and very fun to create. I have done personal blogs before but only on Myspace. It was confusing at first to use, but of course everything new is. However, I really feel like I got the hang of it now. I have yet to continue blogging about the other things I have learned in this class.

Week 2 Jan 26-Feb1

I unfortunately was not here on for the second week of class because I came down with a bug. I am hoping to look up the websites later and see how they will help me.

Week 1 Jan 19-25

Week 1 was a very interesting week. I was not expecting to take a prerequisite yet because I was just a first semester student. However, I am learning a lot in this class and how the internet has many websites that can help teachers out. One website I looked up was teachnology.com. It had one interesting feature and that was the timeline creator. We all heard little bits and pieces about each other by reading our timelines in class.

After class, I went straight to the V-Lab and looked up the forums and there were a lot of fellow students with interesting thoughts about technology. I also took the Computer Literacy Test and saw that I wasn't as computer savvy as I thought I was. This class is very interesting so far.
